1) What is Christian?
And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians. (Acts 11:26)
these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31
“Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” John 3:2
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” John 3:4
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins Ephesians 2:1
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3:5
since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; 1 Peter 1:23
The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the LORD? Psalm 14:2-3
