5) Things

for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. (verse 49)

1. He Looked

 The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. (Psalm 14:2)

The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. (Psalm 34:15)

for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. (Luke 1:48)

“Greetings, O favoured one, the Lord is with you” (Luke 1:28)

2. He blessed

For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; (Luke 1:48)

3. He exalted

In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. … And all went to be registered, each to his own town.  (Luke 2:1,3)

he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate;  (Luke 1:52)

1. He Looked

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. (Gen 1:31)

2. He blessed

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.   (1 John 4:14)

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”  (Matt 1:21)

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Matt 5:8)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, (Eph 1:3-4)

3. He exalted

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Rev 1:5-6)
